Health and Safety for Metal LPBF

This course is designed for learners who need a practical safety foundation before working with or around EOS metal LPBF equipment. Participants will review safety-related concepts commonly associated with metal powder-based additive manufacturing environments, including basic risk awareness, protective measures, warning systems, fire and mechanical hazards, waste handling, and safety considerations for post-processing activities. The course helps learners understand why safety practices are critical in metal LPBF environments and how to recognize situations where additional site-specific guidance, machine documentation, or EHS escalation may be required.
