One of the finest albums of early-1970s Czechoslovak rock. Released in 1971, the album received high praise from critics, with Melodie magazine even naming it 'Album of the Year’. The LP features exceptionally clear-sounding, light progressive rock with subtle touches of psychedelia, soul and even folk. Classic keyboard sounds dominate, with the Hammond organ taking centre stage. Another notable feature is the music’s accessible yet inventively constructed melodic character. The second, English-language side of the original LP includes, among other tracks, two exceptionally successful covers: The Beatles’ We Can Work It Out and Cream’s I Feel Free. Their arrangements bring to mind the work of Vanilla Fudge and even Deep Purple from the earliest period of their career. This edition comes in a classic jewel case with a 16-page full-colour booklet featuring, among other things, an essay in both Polish and English, as well as colour photographs and scans of memorabilia. The entire material has been remastered directly from Supraphon’s original master tapes. Superb music that will delight every fan of classic progressive rock from the first half of the 1970s.
