The Meditation Seat

Harvested from cork oak forests in southern Portugal and shaped by hand into one dense form, the Meditation Seat angles the hips forward to open the pelvis and lengthen the spine. It holds that angle sit after sit, so a five-minute session and a forty-minute hold ask the same of you. Cork holds its shape, unlike filled cushions that compress and flatten over time. It keeps its surface clean too, wiping down in a pass with no fabric cover to soak up sweat or oils, stays put on hardwood and carries easily between rooms.
