Arturo Fuente Destino al Siglo

Arturo Fuente built the Destino al Siglo to mark the company's 100th anniversary. The full name on the box is Don Arturo Gran AniverXario Destino al Siglo, and it's one of the few Fuente releases drawing on estate tobacco from Chateau de la Fuente without wearing the OpusX band. That difference is the entire point. OpusX is built on Corojo seed grown at the Chateau. Destino al Siglo uses Habano seed from the same ground. Same soil, different plant, different cigar. Fuente calls it a full-flavor smoke and that holds up. It sits rounder and sweeter than OpusX, with cedar and baking spice carrying most of the way through. Medium to full. Construction is what you expect out of Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia — even burn, consistent draw, nothing to fight.
