Laurent Bannwarth, Riesling (2022)

100% Riesling Vineyard: Loess and loamy-limestone slopes. Certified biodynamic and Ecocert, farmed with minimal intervention. Grapes are hand-harvested at high ripeness at the end of September, and undergo spontaneous fermentation before aging 18 months on fine lees in concrete tanks. Bottled in August 2024 unfined, unfiltered, zero SO2 added. Bottle-aged for nearly two years before being shipped. A dry, racy and gastronomic riesling with complex aromas of toast, yellow fruit, and stone. The palate is round and fresh with Riesling’s trademark spiny structure and a long, singing finish.
