The darkest expression of our Shou Sugi Ban process. Carbon undergoes full carbonization — a prolonged, controlled burn that converts the surface to pure char. After brushing, what remains is a deeply black surface with subtle bronze iridescence and dramatic grain relief. No two boards are identical. Carbon is the choice for interiors that mean it.
