Fish in silver - pin for the lapel

Length 9 cm. in total.Unfortunately, the brooch is not stamped. However, we guarantee that it is silver. The fish is an ancient Christian symbol, which has most often been used in connection with periods when Christians have been persecuted. It is therefore possible that this has been used as a hidden symbol of the owner's affiliation. It is in good condition with natural patina. This is from the 18th century.
