How many Luma SHORTIES™ do I need? Each bundle = 5 unique texture strands: bubble braid, flat braid, fishtail braid, micro braid, and micro twist. Luma Shorties are texture accents, not a base set. They get added in alongside your regular install (braided in or piggybacked) to give your set personality, depth, and a look that's all yours. For a subtle hint of texture: Start with 1–2 bundles (5–10 strands total). Good choice if you want just a little something extra without changing the overall feel of your install. For bold, eye-catching texture: Go up to 3–4 bundles if you want texture to be a real feature of your set. If you're not sure how much texture you want, start with fewer bundles. You can always add more on your next install once you know your perfect look. What's Included & Specs 5 Luma SHORTIES™ texture strands per bundle Length: 24–26 inches per strand (folds in half during install for about 13 inches of visible length on each side) Textures: Bubble braid, flat braid, fishtail braid, micro braid, and micro twist Material: High Heat Resistant Synthetic Fiber Weight for 4 bundles: 6 Ounces Attachment: Braided in using a little girl 3 strand braid, or piggybacked onto an existing install Fit & length Luma SHORTIES™ install at about 13 inches and typically land around bra band length in the back. The strand itself measures 24–26 inches end to end, but because they're double-ended, your hair braids into the middle and the two sides fold down to give you the 13-inch installed look.
