The Double Chocolate is one of the most interesting flavours in the Loco Love range, and a real point of difference in Australian artisan chocolate. The centre is a slow-melting ganache made from cacao and cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, a pairing more familiar in Italian dessert traditions than local ones. The olive oil softens and rounds out the cacao, giving the ganache a fruity, almost savoury depth that lingers after the chocolate is gone. Crunchy Peruvian cacao nibs and a light scatter of Australian sea salt sit on top. The shell is Loco Love's signature 70% dark chocolate, made from organic, fair trade Peruvian cacao. Loco Love bars are made without emulsifiers or preservatives, so they soften faster than supermarket chocolate when exposed to heat. We pack carefully, but once a parcel leaves our warehouse we can't control transit conditions.
