Portrait Study III

Ink & Charcoal on OSB Board 16" × 24" (41 × 61 cm) Framed Portrait Study III pushes further into abstraction, where the figure is less fully resolved and instead embedded within the fragmented surface of OSB. Ink and charcoal move across the material in a way that allows the image to surface gradually, rather than appear all at once. The portrait exists in a more elusive state, with features emerging through suggestion and texture, inviting a closer look as the composition reveals itself over time. Available as part of a series of three portrait studies. Inquiries for multiple works are welcomed.
