Fire Mug

I am still very early in this process and will be adding things often in the coming weeks. The Fire Mug was dreamed up to fill the gap between large bulky fireplaces that run off larger cumbersome 5lb plus propane bottles and the tiny isobutane open flame lanterns that really only give off a bit of light. The Fire Mug is designed to run off the easy to find 1lb format 'green' propane bottles, both the easy to find disposable versions available almost everywhere and the newer refillable units. The jetting, flame size, and flame color has been engineered to sustain a foot of fire without exceeding the maximum flow of these compact bottles. With a 12" tall fire, a single 1lb bottle will run the Fire Mug for ~2.5 hours with a warm yellow orange flame. The entire system packs away safe in a small bag along with the one pound bottle ready for your next adventure. Available now through a pre-buy sale with a 4-6 week lead time (Shipping Included!), this is how I 'kick-start' my new products and support customers that closely follow my store and brand development. These pre-buy units are all hand-built with limited branding. Development units have been in use for nearly two years now, but I will be ramping up the manufacturing, streamlining the assembly processes, and minimizing the part count. I will be building these in larger and larger batches as I move forward, but the please note the extended lead time on these orders. What is included - -Fire Mug Assembly with 1lb Propane Valve -Yellow tinted fire-glass inside the mug for gas dispersion -Silicone Cover to contain the glass during storage -Carrying bag with stand insert and room for a 1lb propane bottle (bottle not included) -Tripod stand - Break-down aluminum flat-pack stand for 1lb size propane bottles What is not included - A 1lb propane bottle and an ignition source. I find that an extended tip butane lighter works best and will still fit into the bag for storage. Notes- -The fire mug has the capability to produce a very large flame to wow and amaze your friends, but only for short durations. A flame height of more than 12" will exceed the long term maximum flow of the propane bottle and will freeze up the output port. A short 6" flame will stretch the duration on a 1lb bottle out to over 4 hours. -There is a minimum temperature threshold to allow the propane to vaporize from the bottle, this is in the neighborhood of -20F ( -28C) depending on the flow required -The current storage stand provided with the Fire Mug is a 3d printed part. It is best to keep the bag out of direct exposed sunlight when possible to avoid warping. In the future, this will likely be available as a commercial molded part. Safety - You are literally playing with fire. Please insure you are using the included stand with your Fire Mug on flat level ground to help maintain the stability. The rim of the cup does get HOT after extended use and will require a cooling period before the lid can be re-attached and stored back in it's bag.
