CH-Certificate
Whenever you want to install wheels on your vehicle that are not already approved under the vehicle’s COC certification, you will need either a general ASA/VIA wheel certificate or a formal declaration of suitability, which serves as a Swiss wheel approval document. The strength reports, load capacity reports, and parts certificates commonly issued in Germany and Austria, for example by TÜV, are generally not accepted in Switzerland. Instead, the Swiss authorities require a so-called declaration of suitability issued directly by the manufacturer or by an importer. This document confirms to the cantonal authority that the installed wheels are suitable and legally approved for the presented vehicle. In Switzerland, these documents are also commonly referred to as supplement sheets, Swiss approval reports, certificates, or wheel approval documents.
