Serviette Issue 8

Serviette is a biannual magazine published in Canada that looks at food through a wide lens, weaving together food history, culture and design with stories that highlight our close connection with what we eat. What grabbed us about this issue.... This issue concentrates on the idea of food as a vice. We were intrigued by a piece on Turkish honey, mentioned in ancient Greek texts, that can be both medicinal and intoxicating. Talking Trash shines a light on the increasing food waste produced by exclusive events and the catering industry's lack of solutions. Who is Serviette for? If you are drawn to food features with plenty of detail, Serviette is worth a look.
