Pre Owned, Excellent Condition, just normal play wear you’d expect, most visually on the head. No major bumps or bruises though. Some beautiful figured maple, and includes rail capo and strap and tailpiece/bridge upgrade! These are no longer available and are very desirable banjos. This is an example of Recording King taking something they do really well, and making it better. Just like the Elite-76, but with Flying Eagle inlay instead of hearts and flowers. This banjo takes everything we love about the RK-R36, and brings in more features and attention to detail which more than justifies the extra price in my opinion. It more closely replicates the original Mastertone banjos of the 1930's, while having a classic Mastertone-style tone ring, true steam-bent 3-ply maple rim, and one piece flange...it also sports visual improvements with classic design features like the vintage-style double-cut Recording King peghead, classic inlay patterns, and binding and concentric rings on the resonator. It just looks more like an original Mastertone when compared to some of the other banjos in this line.
