Scale & Substance Measuring approximately 3 inches in length, these earrings carry a strong statement presence while maintaining graceful movement. The elongated silhouette draws the eye downward through each element of the design, creating a balanced composition from top to bottom. The feather alone measures approximately 1.75 inches, giving the earrings substantial visual presence and dimensional depth. Stone & Material Character At the top of each earring sits an oval rainbow moonstone displaying vivid flashes of color that shift with changing light and movement. The stones are secured in scalloped bezels that add texture and definition around the settings. Below, hand-forged sterling silver feathers introduce sculptural detail through hand-stamped surface work and dimensional shaping. Studio Process These earrings are bench-forged silver, constructed through extensive handwork at the studio bench. The 14k gold-filled accents are then integrated into the design, allowing each component to move independently while maintaining a cohesive structure. Final finishing enhances the dimensional character and contrast throughout the piece.
