IMPACT 0014

IMPACT extends the core of my practice into its most distilled form. The works originate from macro studies of pigment, medium, chemistry, and physics interacting at close range, evolving through cycles of digital and analogue processes. I focus on the split second in which surface tension breaks and the components pull apart, revealing their full spectrum in a volatile choreography before settling into a single mix. This moment of exposure before collapse mirrors the tension that has always driven my work. With IMPACT, the substrate is not a background but a threshold, a surface that carries all colours within it. When that surface breaks at impact, the material spectrum and my own internal spectrum become briefly visible together. Each work in the series is singular, non-reproducible, and hand-signed.
