Field Daisy Print
Tess Newall’s collection of botanical paintings reimagines antique botanical etchings. Referencing plants often found in her murals, nine plant studies have been painted using gouache and reproduced as fine art prints. The collection includes English wildflowers such as red campion, lady’s thimble and forget-me-not. Field Daisy ~ the word daisy comes from the Anglo-Saxon ‘daes eage’ meaning 'day's eye’, referring to the petals opening in the morning as the sun rises, and closing at night as the sun goes down. Fine art giclée prints on archival cotton rag paper, available in two sizes.
