Summer Camp - Letterkenny Community Centre - August 6th - 7th
Our High Performance Goalkeeper Camp provides boys and girls aged 7โ16 with a structured, high-energy 2-day goalkeeper-only experience designed to maximise enjoyment, learning, and real player development. Built on a professional coaching philosophy, the programme focuses exclusively on the demands of the goalkeeper position, combining specialist technical training, game-based learning, and position-specific development in an environment that challenges and supports every player. Goalkeeping is at the heart of our identity. Our specialist goalkeeper training is delivered throughout the camp by experienced coaches, ensuring every goalkeeper receives the focused, high-quality development their position demands. This goalkeeper-only programme is designed to give players more individual attention, more structured drills, and more opportunities to develop the key skills needed to perform with confidence in matches. All activities are age-appropriate and ability-based, with a strong focus on: Developing technical goalkeeping ability Building confidence and decision-making Improving communication and organisation Developing handling, footwork, diving, and distribution Improving overall game understanding Creating an enjoyable and positive experience Key Features of the Camp A structured 2-day goalkeeper-only programme Professional coaching delivered by experienced academy coaches Specialist goalkeeper sessions throughout the camp Game-based sessions designed around real match scenarios Small-sided and goalkeeper-specific practices to apply skills in realistic situations Emphasis on both individual development and match performance Darren Randolph will be in attendance on Day 1, working closely with players and sharing his experience at the highest level of the game.
