The highly efficient radiator features a nice heavy-duty, 42 mm thick aluminum core, a 13 mm hex head brass bleeder screw that won’t break off, along with a threaded brass insert to fit the screw securely and assure a good seal. In addition, this radiator has a threaded brass insert for the cooling fan temperature sensor. We are pairing the radiator with our silicone radiator feed and return hoses in a Burley Bundle for even more savings. Silicone is a known improvement to the original VW Radiator hoses, as silicone holds up better under high temps and engine fluid corrosion compared to the original hoses. These hoses fit nicely on all vans, but even fit with wider, factory-original alloy wheels because we had them shaped into a curve to allow for a bit more room.
