GREC Course Approval Code: 73771 (Approved for Broker and Salesperson CE) Course Description: This Course offers a detailed review of Seller and Buyer Brokerage Engagement Agreements. We will discuss the different types of agency relationships, and the difference between customer and client relationships as well as the obligation of clients or customers to sign agreeing pay compensation prior to being shown by Buyer’s Broker. There will be an emphasis on the importance of educating Buyer clients regarding their contractual obligation to pay compensation if Seller does not, and the importance of understanding Buyer Duties in the BBA. In addition, we will discuss proper use the the Compensation docs including Pre-Showing Compensation Agreement, Broker Compensation Exhibit and the revised Instructions to Closing Attorney.
