The ultimate do-it-all trailer sailer. The MacGregor 26 is a hugely popular design that does something very few yachts can – it sails beautifully and tows behind the family car. With its water-ballast system, it sits light on the trailer and simple to launch, then settles into a very stable platfrom once the ballast is filled after launching to set sail. <p> The 60hp Mercury CT was installed in 2024 with only 14 hours on it – this Macgregor gets on plane and can even pull a water skier. If the wind dies out you can simply motor into the bay for an overnighter or back to the trailer.
