Special 1996 Service Station Exclusive STILL SEALED This is the Lionel Steel Diesel switcher with two DIE CAST Ore cars special limited edition Service Station set from 1996. It was only sold to Lionel Service Stations in 1996. It was uncatalogued, announced in a special flyer (pictured below). The cars are different than the usual plastic ones Lionel issued. These are DIE CAST with SPRUNG TRUCKS and have a wider casting giving them a more realistic profile. There was a third add on car available separately. The set originally retailed for $495.
