Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Church

The purpose of these pages is above all to support and encourage the action of Christians in the social sphere, especially of the lay faithful, to whom this sphere is proper. His entire life must be described as a fruitful work of evangelization. Every reader of "good will" will be able to understand the motives that impel the Church to intervene with doctrine in the social field, at first sight outside its competence, and the reasons for an encounter, a dialogue, a collaboration in the service of the common good.
