Pants never fit? That jacket is too boxy? Your favorite skirt is too long? Let’s fix that. In this 4-week workshop, you’ll learn how to alter and repair your clothing so it fits your body, and your style, the way you want. Each session begins with a focused lesson on a specific technique, followed by hands-on time to apply what you’ve learned to your own garments. Bring 4–8 pieces that need attention. In Week 1, we’ll assess everything together, prioritize what’s most achievable, and map out a plan for the weeks ahead. * Basic machine sewing skills required ** Teens welcome (age 13 and up) What You’ll Learn Each Week Week 1: Fitting & Preparation Learn how to see what’s not working, and how to fix it. I started sewing at nine years old and never stopped. What began as a love of fabric and design grew into a career in fashion, and now, one of my favorite things is helping others discover that same sense of possibility and joy. I believe getting dressed can be an act of self-expression, creativity, and confidence. Sewing is a powerful way to connect more deeply with your personal style, and my only real fashion rule is simple: wear what makes you feel amazing. In my workshops, I create a welcoming, low-pressure space where you can experiment, make mistakes, and try something new. My goal is to help you quiet the inner critic, trust your instincts, and make pieces that feel truly like you. Please see our FAQ page for general studio Q&A’s.
