AEROFIXX Application Tool

Applications Spray and seal application tool for use with VISCONN® and VISCONN FIBRE® sausages. Connects with standard compressors to quickly and easily apply liquid applied airtight membrane anywhere from wall or ceiling surfaces to hard-to-reach gaps. Advantages Time-saving airsealing of difficult junctions None of the clean up required from typical airless sprayer application Apply VISCONN PHI-Certified airbarrier - for interior with vapor-variable properties Reliably cover cracks and joints of up to 3/4" (20 mm) with VISCONN FIBRE Application and spreading of the material in one step 2 Precise application settings: 1 for a line of material to close joints; 2 to spray over and seal surfaces evenly Allows the for one-handed application with no brush required VISCONN available in two color options: one that is blue when wet and dries black to confirm drying, one that is white when both wet or dry Properties Pressure: up to 100 psi (6.8 bar) Lightweight and compact form Substrates Apply to walls, ceilings and floor surfaces, such as masonry, CMU, wood sheathing, fiberboard, joists or joist bays Highly porous/uneven materials require 2 or more coats for reliable coverage/airsealing It may be necessary to apply more than one coat in the case of uneven or rough subsurfaces Can be plastered/painted over, Pro Clima adhesive tapes can be bonded onto it (and can be sprayed over all TESCON/CONTEGA Pro Clima tapes) Use and Care: Default pressure: open blue knob fully and turn back 1/2 rotation. Set compressor to 90-110 psi (max 145 psi) Please clean out AEROFIXX after use with warm water to remove any VISCONN from tool. Use mineral spirits if VISCONN has dried To lubricate tool before use, please use faucet grease or other lubricant safe for rubber - to make tool operation easier.
