The Polar Pro Hybrid Pleated Depth Insert is the replaceable filter cartridge that drops into the Polar Pro Filter Assembly on every Arctic Spas Custom Series hot tub built from 2020 to present. This is the most popular Polar Pro filter media — and the same insert that comes pre-installed on new Arctic Spas Custom Series tubs. What it does The Hybrid insert combines a traditional pleated outer layer with an inner depth-filtration core. The pleats catch large debris like leaves, hair, and body oils; the depth layer captures finer particles and holds them inside the filter body. The result is noticeably clearer water than you'd get from a pleated-only filter. The Polar Pro system: housing + insert The Polar Pro filter is built as two parts: a reusable plastic housing and a replaceable insert. This insert is designed to fit inside the Polar Pro Filter Assembly. If this is your first Polar Pro filter purchase, you'll need both. After that, you only ever replace the insert — saving money and keeping a perfectly good plastic housing out of the landfill.
