Their clean albino appearance creates a bright contrast against the rocky aquascapes commonly used in African cichlid setups. Known for being one of the more peaceful groups of Malawi cichlids, Aulonocara are active, intelligent, and full of personality. They thrive in aquariums with open swimming areas, rock structures, and stable alkaline water conditions.
