As part of the Cornwall Can Be initiative, this group’s mission is to grow an innovative, resilient land-based economy rooted in place, community and nature. This group will: Champion the voices of land-based businesses and highlight their unique contributions to Cornwall’s food security, environment, and cultural identity. Address shared challenges such as labour shortages, access to affordable land, changing agricultural policy, climate adaptation, and skills needs. Explore innovation and opportunity, including regenerative agriculture, agri-tech, diversification, and new income streams from biodiversity, carbon, or community-based initiatives. Connect with wider strategy by supporting Cornwall’s goals for thriving places, climate action, local food systems, and a circular, nature-positive economy . Conversations will focus on building practical collaboration, surfacing policy ideas, and amplifying the contribution of cultivation-based sectors to Cornwall’s future. *Please note – this is Cornwall Chamber Members only event for our members on Connector, Advocate or Visionary tiers. Preference will be given to those in agriculture, food processing and food retail due to limited spaces.*
