Eucalyptus Cinerea

Eucalyptus cinerea, commonly known as Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, is a beautifully scented evergreen plant known for its rounded silver-blue leaves and fresh, aromatic foliage. Native to Australia, this fast-growing eucalyptus is loved for its soft colouring and natural look, making it popular both as a patio plant and for indoor styling in bright spaces. The foliage is often used in floristry thanks to its long-lasting scent and muted green tones. ☀️- She loves as much light as possible and thrives in a bright, sunny position. A few hours of direct sun each day will help keep growth healthy and compact. Lower light levels can cause weak or leggy growth. 💧- Water when the top couple of inches of soil feel dry. She prefers lightly moist soil but does not enjoy sitting in water, so make sure there is good drainage. 🌡️- Ideal temperatures are 10–24°C. She enjoys cooler fresh air and can tolerate lower temperatures outdoors, but younger plants should be protected from hard frost. 🪴- Use a well-draining compost and repot when roots begin to outgrow the pot. Eucalyptus grows quickly, so may need repotting more regularly than slower-growing houseplants. ✂️- Prune regularly to maintain shape and encourage fresh, bushier growth. Without pruning, she can become tall and sparse over time. 🌿- Suitable for both indoors and outdoors. Indoors, place in the brightest spot possible.
