DESCRIPTION Northern Vietnam has no shortage of spectacular roads. What makes this journey special is how we ride them. Over thirteen days we travel through the remote mountains of Vietnam's far north, following quiet backroads that weave between limestone peaks, terraced hillsides, deep valleys and ethnic minority villages near the Chinese border. This is not a mileage-focused tour, nor a race from one landmark to the next. We stop often, take the scenic route whenever possible and leave room for the unexpected moments that often become the highlight of a journey. The route takes us through the dramatic landscapes of Cao Bang, Ban Gioc, Ba Be Lake and the legendary mountain roads of Ha Giang. Expect endless corners, towering karst mountains, remote villages, colourful markets and some of the finest riding roads in Southeast Asia. Like all ADA journeys, this tour is as much about the people, places and stories collected along the way as it is about the riding itself.
