This is a very quiet bit which is appreciated by mares, stallions and young horses. Most horses will accept the contact better from amateurs in this bit. Need to promote a true and consistent contact? If your horse is tentative into the contact (inconsistent), the Neue Schule Eggbutt offers the stability within the mouth needed to boost the horse’s confidence causing it to seek the bit taking the rein forwards; very beneficial for short tense necks and excellent for directional control. Unlike traditional Eggbutts, with the Neue Schule Tranz Angled Lozenge mouthpiece, feel and response is not lost and the horse will not fix against the hand. PLEASE NOTE: The 14mm Tranz Angled Lozenge Eggbutt has smaller bridoon-sized rings (55mm)to facilitate pairing with a curb bit. Though it may be used alone as a snaffle if desired. The small rings look better on smaller horses or refined heads. Pony bit has smaller rings, maybe too small on a horse.
