Hornby Elite replacment control dial (encoder)

Is your Hornby Elite controller dial not quite responding correctly? Does it jump around when trying to change a setting? Usually it affects channel one simply because that one gets used most. Then you need this part to change the control dial (encoder) Fitting is quite easy but the screws are a special triangular type and are often difficult to remove without the correct tool. Once inside you just need to unscrew the old encoder and swap the 5 wires over to the new one. This is the correct part for the Elite and you can fit it yourself, or we can do it for you for an additional £15 for one or £20 for two (not including the price of the encoder) Please contact us for more information. Note this part is not suitable for any other controller. Supplied individually, you can change only the faulty one, however it's best to change both at the same time.
