Italian bronzed terracotta head

A large Italian male head sculpture from 1959. Expertly handcrafted in terracotta with a stunning patinated bronze glaze, this handsome piece has finely modeled features, capturing a slightly pensive natural expression. A rare find. Found in Firenze. Condition: Very good. This head is in very good vintage condition overall with wear and patina consistent with its age and use. Some chips in the glazing are visible, mainly around the ears and bottom. Differences in texture and color is due to the handmade nature of the piece. Will be shipped as a fragile item.
