Rote Jade 2023
This tea has a unique, fruity taste from dark, twisted leaves, resembling a light negative image of a typical oolong. It was developed in 1999 through a crossbreed of a Taiwanese tea variety and a Burmese Sinensis variant, resulting in an excellent black tea.
- The description claims that the taste is incredibly soft and balanced by notes of currants, chamomile, mint, and carnations, reminiscent of Ceylon teas.
