Sandhouse OmniFiller – Solvent-Based Floor Filler 5L Just Add Your Fine Wood Dust.... Ideal for parquet floors and tongue and groove floorboards, OmniFiller is an old school solvent-based resin filler that plenty of floor sanders still swear by. Apply around the middle to end of your sanding process – mix it with the clean dust from the 80 grit, spread it across the floor and work it into the gaps. Because it’s dust from the actual floor, the colour match takes care of itself to a degree. Your final few passes with the machine will then take any excess clean off, leaving a flush finish ready for your coats. Keep topping the mix up every 5 mins for ease of use and better flow when filling the floor. An 80 pass should remove it. Then onto your final 120 sand. If the mix has been put on thick it may need more sanding. If you see any cracks whilst sanding off just top them up as you go. Worth knowing... this isn’t suitable where gaps fall through to a void beneath the boards. It needs a solid base to sit on, which is why it works so well on parquet and tongue and groove where the boards butt together tightly underneath.
