WHAT'S IN THE BOX NOSE - White peach and nectarine lead with brightness and clarity, citrus fruits and native wild flowers adding a lifted, aromatic freshness. Toasty vanilla drifts through quietly underneath - present but never overpowering. PALATE - Stone fruit and citrus open with vibrancy and purpose, tropical notes emerging through the mid-palate as layers build gradually across the tongue. The texture is the surprise - rounded and generous, almost creamy, malolactic fermentation and lees ageing lending a robustness that sits comfortably alongside the bright, balanced acidity. French oak spice adds subtle vanilla warmth without ever crowding the fruit. Light to medium bodied, mineral, and considerably more textural than it first suggests. NOTES - This is a Chardonnay that leads with fruit and lets everything else follow quietly behind. Partial malolactic fermentation, specific yeast strains, ageing on lees - the winemaking is considered and deliberate, all of it in service of a wine that feels vibrant and fresh while carrying a richness of texture that lingers well past the finish.
