イギリス人アーティスト、セシリー・ブラウン（Cecily Brown）の作品集。2026年3月から9月にかけてロンドンの「サーペンタイン・ギャラリーズ（Serpentine Galleries）」で開催された展覧会に伴い刊行された。 同館は本展にあわせて、ケルンの出版社「ヴァルター & フランツ・ケーニッヒ（Verlag der Buchhandlung Walther und Franz König）」と共同で本書を刊行した。 著名なグラフィックデザイナー、イルマ・ブーム（Irma Boom）がデザインを手がけた本書には、セシリー・ブラウンと、同じく英国の画家であるセリア・ポール（Celia Paul）との私的な往復書簡からの抜粋に加え、ブラウンとサーペンタインのアーティスティック・ディレクターであるハンス・ウルリッヒ・オブリスト（Hans Ulrich Obrist）による新しく詳細なインタビューを収録。さらに、詩人・研究者のイザベル・ギャリモア（Isabel Galleymore）による新作詩2篇と、アメリカの著名な詩人メアリー・オリヴァー（Mary Oliver）による作品も収められている。 Cecily Brown: Picture Making — the official exhibition catalogue from Serpentine Galleries, London, for the artist's first major institutional exhibition in the UK. To accompany Cecily Brown: Picture Making, Serpentine has co-published a fully illustrated catalogue with Verlag der Buchhandlung Walther und Franz König, Köln. Designed by acclaimed graphic designer Irma Boom, it features excerpts from a personal correspondence between Cecily Brown and fellow British painter Celia Paul and a new in-depth interview between Brown and Serpentine's Artistic Director Hans Ulrich Obrist. The catalogue also includes two newly commissioned poems by poet and scholar Isabel Galleymore and a piece by acclaimed American poet Mary Oliver.
