Aurora Mug
Named after the aurora borealis and thrown from stoneware clay in my garden studio in St Werburghs, Bristol. This mug is glazed in layered greens and blues that shift across the surface like light moving through a cold sky. No two come out of the kiln identical — the colours pool and break differently every time, which feels right for something named after a natural phenomenon that never repeats itself. A small mug — around 200ml — for a slow coffee or a careful cup of tea. Glazed by hand, fired twice. Each one is individual. Each piece is handmade so dimensions and glazing may slightly differ within the batch.
