A dry vintage with temperatures remaining mild until mid-February. This allowed the vines to ripen the grapes slowly and evenly, producing wines of outstanding varietal character. The colour is bright, medium ruby in colour with a purple hue. Vibrant red florals on the nose with black pepper, mixed fresh herbs and a hint of ground coffee. On the palate it showcases red cherries, strawberry and red plums with a smooth, round mouthfeel.
