Please Note: The ultraLUX has been discontinued and will be succeeded by the completely redesigned aquaLUX series. We anticipate a launch around June 2026. Model/Part Number: DWE-AQLNR1 Introducing the aquaLUX Nano: Our latest innovation in subsea LED lighting, engineered specifically for demanding ROV, AUV, and specialized subsea imaging applications. Impressive Output: Delivers a continuous 3,200 lumens. Advanced Dimming & Strobe Sync: Control brightness via Direct PWM (0-100% duty cycle, 3-48V) or achieve perfect frame-synced illumination using direct strobe signals from stellarHD Elite cameras. Failsafe Operation: Defaults to simple on/off control when no PWM signal is present. Compact & Easy to Mount: Small form factor featuring four built-in mounting holes for effortless vehicle integration. Depth Rated: Rated to 1,000 meters (when paired with WetLink penetrators). Because the aquaLUX Nano features a direct-drive LED architecture, operators have precise, granular control over both brightness and operating frequency. The optical path is protected by a rugged sapphire front element, treated with an anti-reflective (AR) coating to maximize light transmission and brightness output. This lens design provides an incredibly even, uniform spread of light, making it the perfect illumination source for photogrammetry and mapping cameras. This exceptional optical performance is paired with highly efficient LEDs and a unique cooling technology, allowing the fixture to achieve an outstanding efficiency of over 170 lumens per watt. Compatibility & Upgrade Guide Upgrading from the original ultraLUX to the aquaLUX Nano? The transition is virtually seamless. The Nano utilizes the exact same PWM signaling and base electrical specifications as the original ultraLUX. The only difference is power consumption—because the Nano is significantly brighter, simply verify that your vehicle's power supply can support the increased current draw before swapping them out. Switching between the aquaLUX Nano and aquaLUX MAX? Please note that these two models are not drop-in replacements for one another. They have fundamentally different electrical specifications, particularly regarding their PWM logic voltage limits and maximum power draw. Always double-check your system's specifications before swapping a Nano for a MAX (or vice versa) to ensure compatibility and prevent hardware damage.
