TRAILSIDE Brewery Watercolor Workshop Join Michael Haun - Roodoodles Live Sunday May 31st 3-5 pm Perfect for beginners and intermediate painters. Expect a quick introduction to watercolor tools, tips, ideas, and encouragement. Supplies are provided to create several original pieces, including paint, paper, and brushes. If you like to take notes, feel free to bring your favorite pen, notebook, or journal. If you already paint and would like to bring your own supplies, you’re welcome to do so. Last month, we painted wildflowers. In this May 31st workshop, we’ll revisit why flowers are such a helpful subject when learning watercolor. They offer a natural way to practice quick sketching, water control, and layering color. We’ll paint and “plant” a few florals on beautiful paper, and we’ll also add in some summer veggies. We’ll talk about why you might want to bring a small journal along to the farmers market, and how this can become the start of your own flower or vegetable journal. Your kitchen could use a few small originals. We’ll focus on developing new skills and simple ideas that build both confidence and creativity. You can do this. You and your friends need this.
