Cake Camp: School of Sorcery, August 10-13, Grades 3-6

School of Sorcery Cake Camp invites creative kids into a world of magic, mystery, and spellbinding design, where cake decorating meets enchanted schools, powerful potions, and dramatic good-vs-evil vibes inspired by beloved wizarding and witchy worlds kids can’t get enough of, like Wicked, Harry Potter, Hocus Pocus, Coraline, and The Chronicles of Narnia. Throughout the week, campers will use professional decorating tools to practice fundamental cake-decorating skills inspired by their favorite sources of sorcery. They’ll mix and color frosting and fondant, learn to frost a cake like a pro, pipe decorative details, and sculpt fondant into magical shapes like spell books, wands, and witches hats. Along the way, campers will earn Cake Camp Achievements, sketch designs in a notebook, and take part in magic-themed games and creative challenges that keep the energy high and the imagination working. Returning campers are welcome! Activities, including apron decorating, are thoughtfully modified each year to ensure your camper enjoys a fresh and unique experience. WHAT’S INCLUDED: A reusable, washable apron to decorate and wear throughout camp (repeat campers can size up or choose another item to decorate) A cake-decorating beginner's tool kit to take home and practice after camp is over, including a small offset spatula, piping tips, and piping bags A design notebook to sketch sorcery-inspired creations 6 cupcakes to decorate and bring home A sprinkle mix customized by the camper to take home Cake Camp Achievements that mark campers progress and celebrate what they’ve learned A 6" cake to decorate and bring home on the final day Daily vegetarian, nut-free snack break (campers may bring additional snacks if needed) Popcorn party on the final day! CAMP DETAILS: Dates: Monday-Thursday, August 10-13, 2026 Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm Location: Cake Hoopla, 7173 SW Dartmouth St., Tigard, OR 97223 REQUIREMENTS: For kids in grades 3–6 or equivalent age range/skillset Bring a refillable water bottle Wear comfortable, mess-friendly clothing A parent or guardian must sign a Waiver, Release, and Behavior Policy IMPORTANT NOTES: Minimum Participation. At least 5 participants must sign up for this camp to take place. If fewer than 5 participants register, the camp will be canceled, and all bookings will be fully refunded with at least one week's. Refund Policy. If you need to cancel your Cake Camp booking, you may do so for a full refund by emailing hey@cakehoopla.com on or before 14 days prior to the start of the camp. Cancellations made thereafter will be issued store credit in the form of an electronic gift card. No-shows are ineligible for any type of refund or store credit.
