Lard Soap Bar Loaf (2.9 lbs)
Lard Soap: Pure Lard Soap Bar Loaf From Old Family Recipe This premium lard soap loaf weighs approximately 2.90 lb and arrives sealed in food-grade shrink wrap. Size of loaf is 10"L x 2.75"W x 3"H. Cut it yourself with a sharp knife, or choose our cutting service ($5 per loaf) for ten 1-inch bars stacked together (not individually sealed). We offer no exceptions to the above. We also offer a nice soap cutter for purchase. Soap Saver Dishes are also available. Store your soap in any plastic resealable container. Our Lard soap is an old-time soap that delivers deep, non-irritating hydration without clogging pores. Its qualities help condition and soothe dry, cracked, or irritated skin, making it particularly beneficial for those with eczema. It is all we use during the very dry and very cold winter months in Connecticut, New England. Our Lard soap loaf utilizes the benefits of food grade lard (an animal fat rendered from pigs) which is then turned into a soap by us through saponification (a process that turns fat into soap). This is a hard soap and like our tallow soap can last a long time. While being a harder soap it does take a bit to lather up (like our tallow soap). If you are looking for a softer soap that lathers up real fast (but does not last as long), you should look at our extra virgin olive oil and coconut oil-based soaps. This premium lard soap bar loaf weighs approximately 2.90 lb (color and shape of soap loaf may differ slightly from picture as each batch is homemade to order and slightly unique order to order giving each batch its own character.) *Full list of ingredients: Food Grade Lard, Glycerin (naturally derived from manufacturing process), and Lye (used for saponification to create the lard soap; final product contains no lye).
