Blenheim Orange
Blenheim Orange is still regarded as one of the best dual purpose apples. The fruit is yellow gold with red stripes and a fine brown russet. Creamy flesh is crisp and dry with a nutty flavour. Mildew resistance is good and the yields are heavy. A good choice for a northern garden. Origin: Oxford 1740
