Vintage Box-Link Chain

Vintage Italian box-link chain in solid 9 carat gold. English import marks indicate that it was retailed in the UK in 1980. Italy was known for its quality gold chains from the 1970s through to the 1990s. They always remind me of tank tracks, somehow.
