The easiest and cheapest option is Jewelry Shield - available online and sometimes in jewelry supply / craft stores. If you choose to use Jewelry Shield, gently clean the earrings with mild soap and water, then pat dry with a plain microfiber cloth. Jewelry Shield is applied just like nail polish: 1.Lay the earring flat and apply a thin coat to one entire side. 2. Allow it to dry for 20–60 minutes. 3. Flip the earring over and apply a coat to the other side. 4. Reapply every few weeks for 24/7 wear.
