Las Lajas Perla Negra is a wildly expressive cup that perfectly showcases the Chacón family’s innovative approach to processing. Bursting with notes of fresh kiwi, boozy pineapple and green apple chewy sweets, the coffee opens with vibrant tropical intensity before settling into layers of lime and lemon cordial-like acidity. Although bright the cup remains beautifully balanced by an incredible syrupy texture that coats the palate with dense sweetness and a rounded mouthfeel.
