Masterclass | Hand stitched long wallet flap with zipped coin pocket

In this complete course you will make a hand stitched long wallet flap with a zipped coin pocket suitable for holding 12+ cards. Learn how to design a wallet from scratch while improving your leather working skills. You’ll practice different hand stitching techniques and you’ll learn how to create the desired zip length and a gusset style that can be used for many bag or wallet designs. On top, you get the chance to work with different reinforcement materials and learn how to obtain a soft feel and ensure good stability at the same time. During these 3 days you will be guided in all the steps needed for a high end result: from cutting out and skiving, to gluing, stitching, reinforcing and edge finishing. Each step is shown and guided by Christina and then performed by the participants themselves. The informal workshop setting and small group of participants allow a flexible structure so that everyone can go at their own speed and can learn from one another.
