"The Finger Four" Original Oil Painting of Flying Mourning Doves

I learned through Google that a "Finger Four" formation is a 4-aircraft combat formation developed by the Luftwaffe during the Spanish Civil War and widely adopted in WWII to enhance visibility, mutual support, and flexibility. My experience dove hunting is that this formation is indeed a highly effective flight pattern against my Winchester dove loads, or maybe it's the shooter... I painted this one before I ever learned of any such flight formation, but when I read about it, I had to title this "The Finger Four."
