THE EVENT: Solihull Choir Festival We are kicking off the music on Sunday!! The Solihull Choir Festival is an inclusive, non-competitive event that brings together choirs of all sizes, styles, and backgrounds to perform in the heart of Solihull. More than just a stage for music, it’s a platform for connection, shining a light on the health and wellbeing benefits of group singing, championing creativity, inclusion, and belonging across our region. We have to make a small contribution of £5 towards the running costs of this community event. The fee covers the festival costs, sound, staging and insurance. After signing up, please bring £5 to your choir rehearsal and give to Angela or Alana. DATE: Sunday 28th June 2026 TIME: 10:30am-12:35pm PERFORMANCE DETAILS: We will meet in Theatre Square Solihull. 10:30am – Gather 10:45am – Line-up and in position 11:00am-11:30am – On stage 12:25pm-12:35pm – Back on stage for Chandelier collaboration with Pop Voices and Sing It Loud SONGS: Anyone For You, Take On Me, All About You, Reach Out, Our House, Runaway, Never Gonna Not Dance Again After our full set we will return to the stage to sing Chandelier (from the Choir of Man) with two other local choirs. No leggings please. If you don’t then a white, navy or teal top of any kind is okay. White shirts are also fine! These can be in dark navy denim, plain navy or white. No black bottoms please. FOOTWEAR: Please wear plain navy shoes. Navy, white or silver trainers are also welcomed with matching plain socks. Feel free to wear sparkly trainers. Think comfortable chic! JEWELLERY & EXTRAS: Silver jewellery preferred — sparkle if you like! It’s an outdoor event without any holding / backstage area so please only bring what you can carry on your person (bum bag / across the body bag recommended).
